By using GardenSage AI (“the app”), you agree to these terms. Please read them before use.

1. Service Description

GardenSage AI is a hobby indoor gardening companion app providing: plant photo identification, pest and disease vision diagnosis, smart care calendar, source-traceable AI advice, and an offline plant knowledge base. Developed and operated by Sanva, an independent developer (sanva.tk).

This app is not a medical device, veterinary diagnostic tool, or professional pesticide application guide. All care advice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional opinion.

2. AI Limitations and Disclaimers

2.1 Identification Accuracy

Plant identification and pest diagnosis rely on AI models with inherent error rates. Our test results (30-sample set, top-3 hit rate ≥ 80%) reflect typical scenarios, not all conditions. You are responsible for independently verifying identification results before taking any consequential gardening action.

2.2 Source-Trace Mechanism

Every AI care tip carries a citation to a public-domain plant pathology source. This transparency mechanism does not constitute an endorsement of the cited third-party content, which may itself contain errors or outdated information.

2.3 Pesticide and Chemical Advice

• Advice involving pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or other chemicals passes a two-layer safety filter and is always shown with a mandatory dosage-aware disclaimer
• GardenSage AI is not liable for actions taken based on any chemical advice provided by the app
• For commercial agriculture or large-scale chemical application, consult a licensed agronomist and follow all applicable product labels and local regulations

3. User Conduct

You may not:

• Attempt to obtain human medical or veterinary diagnoses from the app (the app does not provide these)
• Attempt to bypass the pesticide safety filter
• Upload image content unrelated to plant identification or pest diagnosis
• Use AI-generated advice as professional guidance for commercial agricultural chemical application

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Pro subscription (Monthly $3.99 / Yearly $14.99, with 7-day free trial) is processed by Apple App Store and auto-renews until cancelled.

• To cancel: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• After cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds follow Apple’s refund policy; file at reportaproblem.apple.com
• Pricing may vary by region as shown in the App Store

5. Intellectual Property

• Garden data, care logs, and records you create in the app belong to you
• Offline knowledge base data is sourced from CC-BY-SA and public-domain datasets; attribution must be retained per source license
• GardenSage AI’s app interface, brand assets, and icons belong to Sanva

6. Account and Data

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. If you detect unauthorized access, contact support@sanva.tk immediately. For account deletion terms, see Privacy Policy Section 6.

7. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the service. We will notify users of material changes through in-app notification in advance.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
